Established in 1981 as a corporate real estate services and advisory company, The John Buck Company rapidly expanded into an innovative developer of office, high-rise residential, hotel, retail and entertainment projects. The Company has collaborated with many internationally acclaimed architects, including Kevin Roche, Philip Johnson, Kenzo Tange and Harry Weese.

The success of The John Buck Company’s property development division has guided the Company into becoming one of the largest management and leasing companies in the Midwest. The Company oversees a 6 million-plus-square-foot portfolio of real estate in the Chicago metropolitan area, including office, retail and residential properties. Plus, with our comprehensive understanding of real estate in Chicago and experience in other cities, including Minneapolis, Washington, D.C., and New York, we can easily transport these services to other markets.

The John Buck Company integrated the Strategic Advisory Group’s services offerings within its other operating divisions to develop and implement real estate strategies to help real estate or space users meet increasingly complex real estate needs. The Company’s experience as a successful property owner, manager, consultant and developer is unique in the real estate industry.
