More About the Foundation
The two principal charitable arms of The John Buck Company are The John Buck Company Foundation and its Civic Involvement Committee.
The John Buck Company Foundation was established to formally manage the charitable activities of the Company. The John Buck Company’s charitable mission is to support Chicago-area organizations whose programs emphasize education and enrich the quality of life for children and families while placing a strong emphasis on education. The John Buck Company Foundation supports qualifying organizations in several ways: making monetary donations, donating real estate services and encouraging employees to serve as volunteers and board members.
The annual Spring Fling benefit, held each year in June, is the major fund-raising event for The John Buck Company Foundation. In addition, through the active participation of its employees, The John Buck Company Foundation raises money for several seasonal charitable events.
The Civic Involvement Committee directs the Company’s charitable giving and is composed of Company employees.
