On Thursday, June 20, 2013 The John Buck Company held its 25th Anniversary Spring Fling benefiting New Schools for Chicago and The John Buck Company Foundation. More than 3,400 members of Chicago’s Real Estate community celebrated Spring Fling for the first time at a new location - the Merchandise Mart South Plaza. Over $674,000 directly benefitted New Schools for Chicago and The John Buck Company Foundation, giving children a chance to claim academic success and further our mission of enriching the lives of Chicago’s children and families in need.
We are pleased to report that $40,000 in raffle prize money was graciously donated back to the event that evening, continuing the success of the ever-popular Big Draw Raffle. A heartfelt thank you goes out to Sebert Landscaping for donating the $25,000 Grand Prize as well as the 3rd prize of $5,000, EHC Industries for their 2nd place $10,000 plus an additional $1,000 gift and to Nancy Strohmayer from Siemens for a $1,000 contribution.
The success of 2013 Spring Fling couldn’t happen without our Corporate Sponsors and In-Kind vendors who continually provide overwhelming support every year. Finally, to the many JBC employees who contributed countless hours and energy to plan, organize and execute this event, we thank you. An event of this magnitude cannot be accomplished without your efforts.
Mark your calendars! We hope to see you all again at the Merchandise Mart South Plaza on June 19, 2014 at the 26th Annual Spring Fling. And for additional information about Spring Fling, the 2014 beneficiary or how you can participate, please contact the Civic Involvement Committee
