Built in 1928 as the Old Dearborn Bank Building, Virgin selected JBC as development manager for the extensive renovation of what had become a threadbare art deco office building, albeit one with landmark status. Today, it is a LEED Gold luxury hotel worthy of the Virgin name with its ornate exterior restored, its carved plaster ceilings revealed, and 250 hotel rooms, three restaurants, and a rooftop cocktail lounge created for discerning guests.
